Canon turned the digital photography world on it's head in 2003 when it first announced the Digital Rebel series. The series debuted with the Canon Rebel EOS 300D. It actually set a new standards with this remarkable camera. And things didn't stop there, every new model offered a lot of improvements over it's predecessor. Regardless of the model you own, be it XT, XTi, XS, XSi, T1i, T2i, 350D, 400D, 450D, 500D, 550D, or the 1000D you need a camera bag... but what model is the best Canon Rebel camera bag ?

This type of bag offers one of the best access methods to your photographing gear. Changing lenses, batteries, cards, everything can be easily accessed through this type of bag. Shoulder bags are very common and have great features which make them the first choice for every new photographer.

Shoulder Bags come in different shapes and sizes. They vary from bags that can only hold your camera and 3-4 lenses with some spare batteries and cards to those that could hold 6 lenses a second camera body with an attached lens, special laptop compartments(usually for laptops of up to 15,4" displays), mobile hard drives, memory pouches, flash drives, ipod and phone holders, piggy back pockets to slip the bag over the the handle of rolling luggage ,most bags have special cinch straps for carrying a tripod. All this comes at a price though. Ease of use and great carrying capacity are all put on a single shoulder. If you get the bigger models you will feel your shoulder ache. If you use it daily you might even end up with back problems.

The Backpack camera holders offer reduced strain on your spine and back through balancing the the whole weight on both shoulders. Backpack Bags are designed to carry almost all your vital photographing gear, you wont miss almost anything with these bags.

However, the great carrying capacity and equilibrium, disadvantage the ease of use, you can't just take out your camera and start shooting, you have to take your backpack down if you want to use your camera.

Every type of camera bag, has great manufacturers, but in the backpack camera bags department, not one producer can hold up to Lowepro. They are simply the best backpack camera producers. Camera Hard Cases are the best way to secure your photography equipment for transporting regardless of the vehicle you use, be it planes, trains, cars or whatever transporting method you use. It's great to have one of these if you travel a lot, they can easily carry most of your equipment. Most Hard Camera Cases are completely customizable, meaning that you arrange the padding and/or cut the foam according to your needs. Very durable resisting to high impacts, water resistant, heavy and bulky. If you are a travel a lot and need to be sure your equipment is alright you need one of these. And as a word of precaution, don't buy one that costs less than $100.

Keep in mind that these are designed for long distance traveling, you can't use them like a sling bag or something similar, but you will need a sling bag once arrived at your shooting spot. You probably know what Camera holsters are, they are the smallest type of camera bags. You won't be able to carry more than 1 camera and up to two lenses, and maybe! a second battery. This are perfect when you need to be mean and lean, just throw you gear into the holster strap it on and go take some pictures. These are great for spontaneus photography as well for photo jounalist situations.
